Starting Off With Your Chao

When you start off with Your Chao you will find two eggs.
To hatch those eggs you have to either throw, attack, or
wait for it to hatch. In the picture on the right you can see a newborn Chao. To name your Chao you have to take them to a place. If you have Sonic Adventure DX, then
you need to go to the Chao transporter an you will find a thing that says name just go to that an name your Chao! If you have Sonic Adventure 2 battle, then you will need to take your Cao to the kindergarten. Once you get there, go to the fortune teller. Once you are there you can either get a name she gives your Chao or name them yourself. To nave yourself, just say no once she gives you the name. After that she will ask you if you want a diffrent name. Say no and she will ask you if you want to name it yourself. After that, just say yes.

Raising Your Chao

To raise your Chao, you have to get things for it. For example, giving it fruit. To give your Chao fruit, just take a fruit and give it to the Chao. You can get fruit by buying it for your Chao or finding fruit near the trees in your chao garden. You can also get Chaos Drives for your chao. Below are all the colors.
You Can get the chaos drives in adventures.
(Note: You can only get Chaos Drives in Sonic Adventure 2 : Battle.) Also you can get small animals too. You an get them in Sonic Adventure DX and in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. You can get them the same way as the chaos drives. The yellow caos drive is for swimming, the Red one is for power, the green is for running, and the purple is for flight.
